Discovery trail « Emys »
Get acquainted with local fauna and flora, and put on your naturalist hat.
Get a new experience following the so called Emys discovery trail, part of Apié de Raybaud hiking trail.
In total, 14 educational desks with mini games and questions-answers will tell you more about the lifestyle of different species. Small figurines are spread all over and tell more about the local wildlife and its natural habitat.
Grasp the opportunity to observe the gray heron, the mallard duck, the martin pecheur, the carp and the European pond turtle from the observation fence built on Aille River banks.
Tourist connected tours
Since 2018, visitors and tourists have been able to use their smartphones to discover the history of Les Arcs, in complete autonomy. A playful and immersive experience.
In total, 130 signposts are installed throughout the medieval Quarter, in town and woodlands.

QR codes and NFC chips, embedded in each signpost, facilitates content discovery experiences about the town, in all fields ;
The positive side of it : localized supports give geographical position and allow visitors to follow theme based circuits.
Each signpost includes kids games.
Enriched content
An animation showcase explains the famous « Miracle of the Roses » from Roseline de Villeneuve, which took place in front of the Château.
This enriched content is financed by Dracenie Provence Verdon agglomeration community.
The House of History
À la découverte de l’histoire des Arcs.
Two main periods are focused on
- The Middle ages
- The French Revolution
Several objects, costume sketches and boards reveal the history of the village.

Escape Game
« La Perle de Provence » Pearl of Provence
Go back in time to 1294 : in order to maintain peace in the village, help Roseline de Villeneuve to find the Pearl of Provence : hidden by Romée in his will.
You will have to solve the enigmas within an hour. If not, you will have to wear the mask of infamy.
This game is available on request, at Les Arcs House of History. Choose the day and time that suit you best and contact Tourism department on 04 94 99 52 95 .
Tariffs : 10 euros per adult, 5 euros for children.

GUIDED VISITS
City walking tour with a certified tour guide.
Every month, guided visits are organised by the Sustainable tourism, Culture and Heritage department. Get acquainted with the old medieval quarter, its endearing small streets, its legends…
Different themes are suggested throughout the year :
