The Sainte-Cécile Bastide
Located at the city’s Northern entrance, the “Sainte-Cécile Mill” is a heritage treasure. The building has much of the local history with its old silk mill and oil mills and has a rich agro-industrial past. All the settling vats (more than 10 vats) and the 3 mills (on 3 different levels) operated by a single wheel are indeed exceptional. Dating from the 18th century the “Sainte-Cécile Mill” is listed as remarkable in the local urbanization plan of the town.
The Olive museum
Follow the olive way, from the harvest to the production of olive oil through integrating new technologies and innovative multimedia within the museum. At your disposal are manipulation games to understand the processes of yesteryear, holograms to visualize better the elements of oil manufacturing that surround you, and the possibility of visiting the place with virtual reality (optional).
Visits can be made freely. You can also organize group visits, or with a guide who will show you around the museum in English or French.
